Chamber of commerce hosts Christmas tree auction for nonprofits
Annual event aims to celebrate community achievements while raising funds for local nonprofit organizations
– The Paso Robles and Templeton Chamber of Commerce has announced the return of its annual Christmas Tree Auction and Awards Ceremony. The event will be held at the American Legion Hall in Templeton on Dec. 5 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. and aims to celebrate community achievements while raising funds for local nonprofit organizations.
The evening will feature the recognition of several notable community members, including Templeton Citizen of the Year Teresa Dellaganna, and Templeton Business of the Year Miller Drilling. Additionally, the chamber will present the Community Enhancement Award to Melinda Reed for her work in advancing the Templeton Community Library.
The Christmas Tree Auction, a key part of the event, allows businesses, individuals, and organizations to donate fully decorated Christmas trees, which will be auctioned to benefit local nonprofits. Funds raised will support various community services, such as youth programs and food banks.
