Chance of rain in the forecast this week 

–North County could see some rain and thunderstorms on Wednesday, according to Weather Underground. Temperatures are expected to be in the 70s during the early part of the week, and then are expected to raise to the mid to upper 80s closer to the weekend.

Scattered showers from storms last weekend added another 0.04 inches to the city’s season total, bringing it to 13.33 inches.  Last year the city recorded 9.51 inches or rain. A typical season is more than 14 inches.
