–Residents around Paso Robles on Wednesday reported a Charter Spectrum Internet service outage. Charter’s support office confirmed the outage but did not say how many customers were without service.

From offices in downtown Paso Robles to neighborhoods like Meadowlark Farms, Riverbank, and Heritage Ranch, many residents reported being affected. The outage appears to have started around 10 a.m. Wednesday morning. At least some service was restored around 3 p.m. See updates at Downdetector.com.

Residents also reported that Verizon data service was down as well.

Atascadero resident Julie Thompson reports that cable lines were downed in front of her house near the 2900 block of Monterey Road in Atascadero. “A truck hit the lines because they were too low and pulled the pole and the lines down in front of our house and the whole property line,” she said.
