Chicago to return to Vina Robles Amphitheatre for September performance

– The legendary band Chicago will perform at Vina Robles Amphitheatre on Tuesday, Sept. 9. Tickets will go on sale Friday, Jan. 17, at 10 a.m. Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster, and more information, including a full list of tour dates, is available at ChicagoTheBand.com.
Chicago, inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2016, is known for blending rock, pop, and jazz, producing hits like, “25 or 6 to 4,” “Saturday in the Park,” and “You’re the Inspiration.” The band has achieved numerous accolades, including two Grammy Awards, two American Music Awards, and a Lifetime Achievement Award from The Recording Academy in 2020.
The band released its 38th studio album, Born for This Moment, in 2022, featuring the hit single “If This Is Goodbye.” Chicago also released Chicago Greatest Christmas Hits in 2023, combining songs from its three Christmas albums.
In 2022, the documentary The Last Band on Stage, directed by Peter Curtis Pardini, highlighted Chicago’s experience during the pandemic. Narrated by actor Joe Mantegna, the film tells the story of how the band returned to the stage following COVID-19 lockdowns.
The current lineup includes original members Robert Lamm, Lee Loughnane, and James Pankow, alongside Wally Reyes Jr., Tony Obrohta, Loren Gold, Ray Herrmann, Neil Donell, Eric Baines, and Ramon “Ray” Yslas. Chicago continues to tour annually, marking 2024 as its 57th consecutive year of live performances.
Some of Chicago’s most famous songs include “Make Me Smile,” “Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?,” “Hard to Say I’m Sorry,” and “Hard Habit to Break.” The band’s records include 25 platinum-certified albums, 21 Top 10 singles, and over 100 million records sold worldwide.
