Children ages 7-12 can make a ‘Cosmic bottle’ at the library’s Maker Monday

calming cosmic bottles paso robles library–On Monday, Aug. 26, from 4-5 p.m., in the Library Story Room, the Paso Robles City Library invites children ages 7-12 to create their own galaxy in a bottle to take home.

“Maker Mondays is one of my favorite classes to teach because the children always come up with new ways to do the project that are so creative and we get to make a big mess! What’s more fun than that?” states Youth Services Librarian Melissa Bailey.

Maker Mondays are the fourth Monday of every month. The program is free but limited to the first 30 participants. Free admission tickets are available at the Children’s Desk beginning at 3:30 pm the day of the program. For more information about Maker Mondays, contact Melissa Bailey at mbailey@prcity.com or visit www.prcity.com/library.

The Paso Robles City Library is located at 1000 Spring Street and is open Monday – Friday 10-8, and Saturday 10-5. For more information on library programs and events, call (805) 237-3870 or visit www.prcity.com/library.
