Children ages 8-13 invited to learn to embroider a constellation hoop at the library

embroidery at the paso robles library–On Tuesday, July 9, from 2:30-4:30 p.m., children, ages 8-13, can learn the basics of embroidery by creating their own constellation hoop. This is the third class in the library’s new “Learn To” series.

“We want to give the children in our community plenty of opportunities to try new things and find a creative outlet they love,” said Youth Services Librarian Melissa Bailey. “Each class will focus on testing out one new skill and will be held during school holiday breaks to give children something fun to try during those long days at home.”

Registration is required. Visit www.prcity.com/246/Classes-Events to sign up. For more information, contact Melissa Bailey, (805) 237-3870.

The Paso Robles City Library is located at 1000 Spring Street and is open Monday – Friday 10-8, and Saturday 10-5. For more information on library programs and events, call (805) 237-3870 or visit www.prcity.com/library.
