Children invited to explore musical instruments at Instrument Petting Zoo
Free event part of the library’s summer reading program
– Children and families can explore musical instruments during the Instrument Petting Zoo on Wednesday, June 17, at the Culinary Arts Academy, 1900 Golden Hill Road.
The free event will take place from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. as part of the Library Summer Reading Program.
The Instrument Petting Zoo gives children and adults an opportunity to interact with a variety of musical instruments. Symphony volunteers will introduce participants to instruments in the collection and help them learn how the instruments create sound and how they are played.
Free tickets will be available on-site beginning 30 minutes before the event.
Attendees at the Culinary Arts Academy location can also receive books to help build home libraries through Cornelius’s Book Fair.
