Event includes child related dental exhibit and activities

– In celebration of Children’s Dental Health Month in February the Paso Robles Children’s Museum will feature dental health themed activities and convert the Toddler Farm into the Tolosa Children’s Dental Center Exhibit.  Kids will be able to hop into a dental chair, check out huge dental models, look at dental x-rays and mark in dental records. This exhibit is the creative work of Children’s Museum staff, and Partnership for the Children of San Luis Obispo County.

“We are so pleased to be working with the children’s museum to create safe and comfortable place for children to explore the dentist’s office, while weaving in some dental education through play and art” says Partnership for the Children’s Board President Dr. Jon Hollister.  “The children’s museum staff have really embraced this theme, and we can’t wait to see what they have come up with. “

In addition to the dental center exhibit on the first floor of the museum there will also be dental themed projects at the Creation Station, art inspired by “What Makes You Smile,” and story time this month will feature books with a dental topic, such as “What if you had animal teeth?”
