Children’s museum hosts naming contest for new play area
Winner of contest will receive free family membership for a year
– The Paso Robles Children’s Museum is hosting a contest for locals to come up with a name for their new outside play area. The structure is currently being built, and is slated for unveiling Oct. 11. The outdoor space will have a picnic area and a fire truck play house constructed by Daniel’s Wood Land.
Some ideas that have been suggested so far are: “Little Mack Play yard,” “Fun Zone,” and “Fire House Park.”
The Martin Family is a major donor of the project so it will include a sign that reads, “in memory of Tom Martin.”
This is also the last week to order a sponsor brick to be included in the construction of outside play area.
To enter the naming contest, go to the children’s museum’s Facebook page and comment on their post about the project. A winner will be selected Monday, Aug. 31.
