Officers are deploying both traditional black-and-white patrol vehicles and specially marked units to monitor the area. The enforcement aims to keep drivers alert and accountable while promoting safety.
According to the California Highway Patrol, people from around the world travel along this corridor, whether cycling on rural North County roads, wine tasting in the Paso Robles region or heading west to Central Coast beaches. The agency emphasized the importance of keeping this route safe for all who use it.
