    CHP Templeton office hosting education class for teen drivers 

    Program is designed for teenagers aged 15 to 19 and their parents

    – The California Highway Patrol will host a free Start Smart driving education class for teen drivers and their parents on Jan. 27 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the CHP Templeton office, located at 101 Duncan Road in Templeton.

    The program is designed for teenagers aged 15 to 19 and their parents. Start Smart focuses on safe driving practices, licensing restrictions, distracted driving, driving under the influence, and other essential topics for new drivers.

    The CHP encourages participants to register in advance, as space is limited. To reserve a spot, contact Officer Ryan Armstrong at (805) 400-6720.

    The class is presented by the California Highway Patrol with funding provided by the Office of Traffic Safety through the Start Smart Teen Driver Safety Education Grant.
