The Cigar House in Paso Robles reports armed robbery

Suspect described as 5’9″ white male wearing black sweatshirt

– On Friday, at approximately 7:58 p.m, the Paso Robles Police Department received a call from an employee of The Cigar House, located at 1514 Spring St., reporting the business had just been robbed at gunpoint. The suspect reportedly entered the store and walked directly to the clerk who was behind the counter. The suspect pulled a handgun from the front of his waistband and demanded the clerk give him the money from the cash register. The clerk complied and gave him the money. The suspect then fled out the front door of the business and fled in an unknown direction. No one was injured in this incident, and the loss is still being determined.

The suspect was described as a white male adult between 20 and 30 years of age, 5’-9”, with a medium build, wearing a black sweatshirt with the word “Aero” in white letters across the front, blue jeans and a blue shirt which he had pulled up over his face.

Officers searched the area on foot and also with the assistance of a K9 unit and were unable to locate the suspect.
