Cinema Club bringing ‘Hamnet’ to Paso Robles library 

– Registration is open for the April Cinema Club film screening, set for April 24 from 2 to 4:30 p.m. in the Story Hour Room at the Paso Robles City Library.

The club meets on the fourth Friday of each month for a film screening, discussion, and snacks.

April’s screening is Hamnet (2026), written and directed by Chloé Zhao. The film follows William and Agnes Shakespeare’s lives as parents in the period leading up to the death of their son, which becomes Shakespeare’s inspiration for his play “Hamlet.” The film is based on the novel of the same name by author Maggie O’Farrell.
