City appoints new wastewater pretreatment coordinator 

Lauren Alderete joined the city in 2022 as an entry-level treatment plant operator

– Lauren Alderete has been promoted to wastewater pretreatment coordinator for the City of Paso Robles, according to a post by Paso Robles City Updates.

Alderete joined the city in 2022 as an entry-level treatment plant operator. She holds a bachelor’s degree in sustainability from San Diego State University and has earned a Grade 3 Operator License. After transitioning to the laboratory, she obtained a Grade 2 Laboratory Analyst Certification.

In her new role, Alderete will oversee wastewater pretreatment operations and water quality analytics.
