City begins planning for 2026 Independence Day celebration
– The City of Paso Robles has begun planning its 2026 Independence Day celebration at Barney Schwartz Park and will mark the 250th anniversary of the United States.
The city announced the planning effort on April 6 in partnership with Travel Paso. Officials stated the event will continue a local Fourth of July tradition that draws thousands of residents and visitors each year.
Organizers scheduled the celebration to include live music, local food vendors, and a designated area with carnival games, bounce houses, and an obstacle course. The event will conclude with a fireworks display over Paso Robles.
The city stated that admission and parking will remain free. Organizers will offer complimentary RV parking on a first-come, first-served basis overlooking the park.
City officials said the event relies on community partnerships to operate each year.
