City invites community to ‘Coffee with the City’ on March 27
– The City of Paso Robles invites community members to attend Coffee with the City (formerly Coffee with the City Manager) on Friday, March 27, at 7:30 a.m. The event will be held in the Patina Room at Cal Coast Brewery, located at 1346 Railroad St in downtown Paso Robles.
Coffee with the City is an informative and informal community meeting series designed to provide residents with insight into current issues, projects, and topics the city is working on and engaged in. Each session typically focuses on a specific topic and includes a presentation by city staff followed by a question-and-answer discussion. Each session is scheduled for one hour.
The March 27 presentation from the City Police and Fire Departments will highlight key public safety initiatives and trends impacting the community, including continued growth in Paso Robles and the city’s long-term planning for public safety services. Updates will be provided on the Public Safety Training Center and the benefits it will bring to both Police and Fire operations, as well as the implementation of the Drone First Responder Program and an overview of current call volumes and service trends.
The Fire Department will provide updates on the city’s Insurance Services Office (ISO) rating, Fire Hazard Severity Zone designations, defensible space requirements, wildfire preparedness efforts, and the ongoing Emergency Medical Services (EMS) project. The Police Department will also present updates on its Annual Report, current staffing levels, recruitment efforts, and the development of a future strategic plan for the department.
Coffee will be provided, and no preregistration is required. All community members are welcome to attend. We hope you’ll join us for conversation, coffee, and community.
