The cit needs to stop watering their golf course and city park and landscaping if they expect its citizens to conserve. I hate looking at my. rown lawn after looking at their green lawns.
I feel that water conservation is not equal and fair to all (or at least the peception is that). When I drive by the Ayers Hotel and see the Vineyards, Olive Trees, and large landscaping projects, it is difficult for me to go back to my 10 X 12 foot lawn and conserve water, as they use thousands of gallons of water. I know it is business, etc., etc. but the perception is hard to swallow. It is negative reinforcement when we all pitch in and conserve water, then the rates are raised because the city could not generate enough revenue from water consumption. I don't know all of the facts, and I am not political, but just a citizen to lives here with his 10 x 12 piece of the American Dream. Am I the only one who feels like this?
