– The City of Paso Robles will continue offering private swim lessons through Aug. 27 at Municipal Pool, providing additional opportunities for children and adults to improve their swimming skills and water safety.
For the second consecutive year, the city is extending its swim lesson program. Private lessons will be held at Municipal Pool, 534 28th St., where instructors can accommodate swimmers of all skill levels and abilities.
Private swim lessons are available for participants ages 3 and older. Lessons are offered in one-week sessions Monday through Thursday at various times. Each lesson lasts 30 minutes and provides individualized, one-on-one instruction.
Registration for the extended swim lesson sessions opens Aug. 1 at 9 a.m. Participants can register online at prcity.com/recreation.
“Our swim instructors are excited to be able to continue teaching swim lessons again this year. They really enjoy being able to help kids and adults feel more comfortable and confident in the water,” said Aquatics Coordinator V. Teeter.
The city also announced that SKWIM and Aqua Jam will relocate to Municipal Pool. Lunchtime SKWIM and Aqua Jam classes will continue, and evening Aqua Jam classes will be added to the schedule.
