City offering new ‘eBay Commerce 101’ class

Classes begin Feb. 2ebay

Paso Robles Recreation Services is offering a new class, called eBay Commerce 101. The class will take place during four Tuesdays from Feb. 2 through Feb. 23. Classes will be held from 6 p.m.-7:30 p.m. in the Live Oak classroom at Centennial Park located at 600 Nickerson Drive in Paso Robles.

Instructor Bret Harrison, a credentialed teacher for the past 25 years, will lead participants during a four week class revealing the secrets of how he and his wife created a successful eBay store that now replaces a working income.

The cost of the class is $60. Limited spaces are available, and participants are encouraged to pre-register. Registration is available online at www.pricty.com/recreation, by calling Paso Robles Recreation Services at (805) 237-3988 or visiting the registration desk at Centennial Park between 12 p.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Participants are encouraged to bring a computer with them to class, although this is not mandatory. A cell phone is not recommended for use in place of a computer.

“Anyone with basic computer and digital photography experience can open a successful eBay store with almost no monthly overhead,” says Harrison. “People all over America are making eBay work for them on their own terms with their own hours. I’ll lead students through a step-by-step process of how to open their own eBay store with plenty of real-world examples and on-going support.”

Harrison is not affiliated with eBay other than as a user.

For more information contact City of Paso Robles Recreation Services Coordinator Heather Stephenson at (805) 237-3994.
