    City seeking homeless services manager to lead new effort

    Applications for the position will be accepted until Dec. 11

    – The City of Paso Robles is hiring a homeless services manager as part of its efforts to address homelessness, according to a recent Facebook post from Paso Robles City Updates, the city’s page. The new hire will lead the implementation of the city’s homelessness strategic plan, focusing on services and prevention strategies.

    Applications for the position will be accepted until Dec. 11 at 10 a.m. The tentative interview date is set for Jan. 7, 2025. Those interested in applying can do so through the city’s job portal at www.prcity.com/jobs.

    This recruitment is part of the city’s commitment to reducing homelessness. According to San Luis Obispo County’s point-in-time count, the county’s homeless population decreased from an estimated 1,448 in 2022 to 1,175 in 2024.
