–The City of Paso Robles is hiring police officers and looking for people interested in becoming police officer recruits.
Job descriptions:
Police Officer (Lateral/Entry Level/Academy Graduate)
In cooperation with the community, performs law enforcement and crime prevention work to provide for the safety of the public.

Police Officer Recruit
Performs non-sworn duties within the Police Department and attends a P.O.S.T. Certified Basic Academy, which is approximately 6 months in length. Upon graduation and award of the Academy Basic Certificate, candidates may be appointed to, and sworn-in as, a Police Officer.
