City seeks applicants for new airport commission

The City of Paso Robles is in the process of forming a new Paso Robles Airport Commission. The city this week extended the deadline for applications for appointment to this Airport Commission until 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 30.

This seven-member commission will replace the current Airport Advisory Committee and will take a more active role in matters pertaining to aeronautical activities, proposed uses and safety of operations of the Paso Robles Airport and the development of this valuable community asset.

The commission will have four members representing airport stakeholders, and three members from the community at large.

Applications may be obtained at City Hall, 1000 Spring Street, or at the airport website.

For more information, please contact the Public Works Director at (805) 237-3861 or the Deputy City Clerk at (805) 237-3960.

The city council will conduct interviews and make appointments in early October.
