– The Paso Robles City Council will hold a discussion on food truck regulations during its regular meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 5 at 6 p.m. in the Council Chamber at 1000 Spring Street in Paso Robles.
City staff will present an overview of existing operational and permitting requirements for food trucks. The public will have an opportunity to provide feedback during the meeting. The City Council will review the input and may recommend future actions based on the discussion. No final decisions or changes to the existing regulations will be made at the meeting.
Food truck regulations are established in Paso Robles Municipal Code Chapter 21.69.120, titled “Food Trucks and Food Truck Courts.” The code defines a food truck as “a vending vehicle selling food and/or beverages in an operable motorized coach or trailer with current Department of Motor Vehicles registration and a current food safety permit acceptable to the San Luis Obispo County Environmental Health Services Division.” Additional information is available at www.prcity.com by searching “Food Trucks.”

Written public comments may be emailed to planning@prcity.com or mailed to the Community Development Department at 1000 Spring Street, Paso Robles, CA 93446. Comments received by 12 p.m. on the day of the meeting will be added to the agenda as an addendum.
