City’s Martin Luther King Jr. Committee seeking local talent 

–The 2018 Paso Robles Martin Luther King Jr. Committee is seeking local talent to perform during the Jan. 13, 2018 event. This free family community event with the theme, “Character + Infinite Hope,” will take place from 1– 3 p.m. at Flamson Middle School.

Talent of all ages are encouraged to submit a video of their performance for consideration via email to recservices@prcity.com by Monday, Oct. 30, 2017. The submission should be no longer than four minutes. Selected talent will be invited to perform at the Martin Luther King Celebration on Jan. 13, 2018. The purpose of the Martin Luther King, Jr. committee is to promote remembrance and celebrate the life and message of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The committee strives to educate, empower and strengthen the community and create among people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities a heartfelt desire to move closer to Dr. King’s vision of a unified community.
