Climate Strike held in Downtown City Park

–About 50 people turned out in Paso Robles for Climate Strike, organized by the Paso Robles Democrats with a presentation by the Sierra Club. The strike was part of a worldwide movement led in part by 16-year-old climate advocate Greta Thunberg.

Protesters met at 9 a.m. in Downtown Paso Robles City Park. The Sierra Club hosted speakers and a showing of the sequel to An Inconvenient Truth: Truth to Power by Michael Moore. 5-8 p.m. at the San Luis Obispo Library. 

On Sept. 28 Climate Strike will have one additional event, this one in San Luis Obispo at 5 p.m. in front of the San Luis Obispo Courthouse, 1050 Monterey Street.
