Templeton Turkey Trot is Saturday, Nov. 23 

Still time to sign up for the 6th annual holiday event

Templeton Turkey TrotThe 6th Annual Templeton Turkey Trot & Family Fun Run will be held Sat., Nov 23.

The 5K and 10K runs will kick off at 8 a.m. on 5th Street between Templeton Park and the Templeton Fire Station. In addition, a 1-mile Kids Loop will start at 9 a.m. for younger enthusiasts and their adult companions.

According to Melissa Johnson of Templeton Recreation, anyone still interested in participating can sign up right up to the start of the race on Saturday morning. There will be a registration table in front of the Templeton Community Services District (TCSD) boardroom early Saturday morning. The $50 fee for the 5K and 10K races includes the official 6th Annual Turkey Trot t-shirt, Turkey Trot bib, a bag of goodies, and entry into the Turkey Trot Raffle. The 1-mile Kids Loop is $10.

The 5K course will loop through the downtown area, two housing developments, and then back to the park. The 10K course is an out-and-back course on the Westside of Templeton, and the 1-mile Kids Loop will be 3 laps around Templeton Park.

Templeton’s Turkey Trot & Family Fun Run is brought to you by the Templeton Recreation Department and sponsored by K-Man Cycling along with Central Coast Strength & Agility as well as a number of local businesses that include Sensations Apparel, Tastee Freez, Kennedy Club Fitness, Templeton Market & Deli, Templeton Donuts, and the Paso Robles Children’s Museum.
