    Tickets go on sale tomorrow

    – Anjelah Johnson-Reyes will bring “The Family Reunion Tour” to Vina Robles Amphitheatre on Aug. 2. The stand-up comedy show will begin at 8 p.m., with doors opening at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets will be available starting Feb. 21 at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.

Johnson-Reyes, a stand-up comedian, actress, author, and podcaster, first gained widespread recognition after her “Nail Salon” stand-up bit went viral on YouTube more than a decade ago. She recently completed a sold-out theater tour across the United States and self-produced her sixth comedy special, “Say I Won’t,” filmed at the Ryman Auditorium. The special has over 5.9 million views on YouTube. She also became a mother for the first time.

“The Family Reunion Tour” is a global stand-up comedy tour spanning more than 150 shows in major theaters worldwide through 2025 and 2026. Johnson-Reyes’ new hour of family-friendly stand-up comedy focuses on her experiences entering motherhood in her 40s and stories about her husband, daughter, family, and friends.

“Family reunions are all about coming together—laughing, eating, drinking, catching up, and remarking on how everyone has changed—and that’s exactly how my shows feel,” Johnson-Reyes said. “You all truly feel like family to me—you’ve been with me since the start 17 years ago when that one video blew up. In many ways, we’ve all grown up together, and now we’re officially the adults—the tias and tios! Couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate this next hour of comedy and tour than to host a family reunion in each city and celebrate with you all! So, bring your entire family, and let’s have some fun and laugh together!”

In April 2023, Johnson-Reyes concluded her most successful comedy tour to date, selling out theaters across North America. In Los Angeles, she sold out The Wiltern four times with more than 8,000 tickets sold. In Texas, she sold more than 25,000 tickets across Houston, Austin, Dallas, Lubbock, San Antonio, and El Paso. As part of her special tapings, she sold out the Ryman Auditorium twice with more than 4,000 tickets sold.

Johnson-Reyes recently launched her podcast, “Funjelah with Anjelah Johnson-Reyes,” on YouTube and major audio platforms. She also appeared in the Amazon Prime holiday film “Candy Cane Lane” alongside Eddie Murphy and in season two of “Life & Beth” on Hulu. Earlier this year, she hosted the eight-episode Tubi original series, “My Crazy Quince.”

Her book, “Who Do I Think I Am: Stories of Chola Wishes & Caviar Dreams,” was recently released in paperback. It explores her experiences growing up between her Mexican and American heritage and her rise to success in Hollywood.
