Commercial structure fire reported at McDonald’s on Niblick
–At approximately 11:07 p.m., the Paso Robles Department of Emergency Services responded to the McDonald’s located at 186 Niblick for a reported commercial structure fire.
Firefighters arrived at scene within four minutes to discover heavy smoke and fire emitting from the building. Firefighters were able to stop the fire from further spreading, limiting heat and smoke damage throughout the building.
The business was occupied at the time of the fire. No firefighters or community members were injured.
Two fire engines and one Battalion Chief from Paso Robles responded. Under the city’s automatic aid agreements, one fire engine and one Battalion Chief from Cal Fire/SLO County and one fire engine from Atascadero City Fire immediately responded to assist. A total of 15 firefighters were required to bring the situation under control. Additional assistance was provided by the Paso Robles Police Department and San Luis Ambulance Service.
The fire was contained at approximately 11:29 PM. The cause of the fire is still under investigation
