Community learns food preservation at Paso Robles library event

– The Paso Robles City Library hosted two canning classes with instructors from the UC Master Preservers program on Saturday at its newest event space, the former Library Study Center.

Participants received instructions, ingredients, and equipment onsite to make raspberry chocolate jam.

Library officials said that additional free classes with UC Master Preservers instructors will be offered in the future for those interested in learning more about food preservation. More details will be announced at a later date.
