Community meeting to address homelessness in Paso Robles
Coffee with the City session to feature panel, city updates
– The City of Paso Robles will host a Coffee with the City event July 31 at 7:30 a.m. at Sunrise Villas Apartments to discuss the state of homelessness in the city.
The community meeting will focus on helping residents understand the homeless services network, how organizations work together, and how progress is measured.
Coffee with the City, formerly known as Coffee with the City Manager, is a community meeting series designed to provide residents with information on current issues, projects, and topics the city is working on. Each session typically focuses on a specific topic and includes a presentation by city staff followed by a question-and-answer discussion.
The July 31 session will run 90 minutes to allow for extended discussion. The event will include an update on city-led initiatives from the city’s Homeless Services Division, as well as a panel discussion featuring organizations working on a collaborative public and private approach to housing and services.
City staff and community representatives will provide information on current programs, share perspectives from individuals who have received support, and discuss efforts to connect people with housing.
The event will take place in the community room at Sunrise Villas Apartments, located at 1600 Fontana Road. No preregistration is required. Coffee will be provided.
Street parking will be available on Fontana and Linne roads. All community members are invited to attend.
