Cone & Associates to host free seminar Oct. 23

Free seminar focuses on impact of worldwide energy on investments

Cone & Associates, Inc. Financial Planners, Paso Robles

Join Cone & Associates, Inc. Financial Planners for a free seminar on Oct. 23 and learn more about the impact of worldwide energy on investments and other energy topics.

Gas prices are fluctuating. Energy sources are changing. But what does this mean for you, and how will it impact your investments? On Thursday, Oct. 23, from 5:30-6:30 p.m., Norm Cone and Anne Crabbe, CFP, of Cone & Associates, Inc. Financial Planners are hosting a free seminar to educate both clients and the public on a variety of energy topics.

Speaker Doug Brown of Cavanal Hill World Energy Fund will be delivering the energy seminar, detailing oil and natural gas exploration and production, opportunities to invest in energy such as renewable and sustainable sources of energy, pipelines, storage and refineries, and how we can respond proactively to the condition of energy.

“The price of oil has dropped in the past couple of months…and there are a lot of reasons behind it that investors aren’t often aware of,” said Norm Cone, branch manager at Cone & Associates, Paso Robles. “You never really get this type of eye-opening info from the headlines and the regular news, so an analysis like this one will prove incredibly valuable for both investors and the general public.”

Analysis of energy trends

Doug Brown of Cavanal Hill World Energy Fund will be delivering the energy seminar on Oct. 23 and will give insight into the international scope of energy trends.

In his seminar, Brown will discuss energy usage and the projection of its usage worldwide, as well as where U.S. and other energy is coming from. Besides the basic information about crude oil and natural gas, Brown will give insight into the international scope of energy trends.

“I feel like information is power, and to have an unbiased, analytical true analysis of energy trends is good for people,” said Anne Crabbe, CFP at Cone & Associates.

“We are fortunate to have found Cavanal Hill, which is based in Oklahoma City, as they have a lot of clients who are in the oil business,” added Cone. “When they offered to come out and put on a free educational seminar for our clients and the public about the state of energy, it was too good to turn down. We thought it was the perfect time and the perfect subject for the investing public. “
