Construction planned on El Camino Real in Atascadero
–Utility construction will restrict traffic on El Camino Real to one travel lane in each direction between Curbaril Avenue and Pueblo Avenue beginning Tuesday, May 29, 2018 through Friday, June 1, 2018.
The City of Atascadero has permitted Southern California Gas to install a new gas service line to a property in the 7700 block of El Camino Real. Work will consist of potholing of existing utilities, installing a new service pipe, slurry backfill, and permanent pavement patching. The installation will require traffic on El Camino Real to close to one lane in both directions. Proper signage, arrow boards, and traffic delineation will be utilized to direct motorists through the work zone. Please use caution when traveling through the area and allow extra time as traffic delays may occur.
