–On Monday, the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office received a report of an inmate who walked away from a daily work program at Camp San Luis Obispo. Adilio Lopez, 35, is an inmate on the Sheriff’s Honor Farm who was on a work detail at the camp.

At the time, Lopez was being supervised by Camp San Luis Obispo employees. Lopez was last seen wearing honor farm clothing of a blue shirt and blue jeans and riding a gray BMX bicycle. Lopez was booked into custody on burglary charges on 4-29-15.

Lopez is described as an Hispanic male, 5′ 2″ tall, and approximately 170 pounds. Sheriff’s Deputies, Detectives, Camp San Luis Obispo personnel, and the California Highway Patrol are actively searching for Lopez.

Lopez is not considered dangerous and has no known history of violence. At this time there appears to be no public safety concern, but the sheriff’s office is asking for the public’s help in trying to locate Lopez. If the public sees an individual matching his description, they are asked to contact the sheriff’s office at (805) 781-4550.
