Costume contest, Halloween festivities planned at SLO Farmers’ Market 

–Halloween festivities will take place at the Downtown SLO Farmers’ Market on Thursday, Oct. 26 from 5 to 8 p.m. Activities include a costume contest and trick or treating at participating Downtown businesses. This event is free, family-friendly, and open to the public.

Trick-or-treating runs from 5 to 8 p.m. Maps of participating business as well as treat bags will be available at the Union Bank parking lot at 995 Higuera Street. This event is sponsored by Sean M. Lee Broker, GRI. of The Real Estate Company.

The costume contest will run from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Sign-ups for the contest begin at 5 p.m. at the Union Bank parking lot, where a KJUG DJ will be onsite. The contest offers prizes for winners in the 0-2, 3-4, 5-8 and 9-12 age groups, as well as additional prizes for pairs and groups including parents, older children, and pets. The costume contest is sponsored by Doc Burnstein’s Ice Cream Lab.
