Council appoints two to Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee

The Paso Robles Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee.

The Paso Robles City Council re-appointed two wine industry leaders to the Paso Robles Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee. The appointments were made at the council’s regular meeting Tuesday night.

Christopher Taranto of the Paso Robles Wine Country Appliance was re-appointed to a third term on the committee. He has served on the committee since 2010. Justin Perino of Scheid Vineyards was re-appointed to the committee for a second term, after having served two years.

The Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee provides a communication link among the community, city council and the staff of the Department of Library and Recreation Services. They are advisory in all matters pertaining to parks, recreation, playgrounds and entertainment.
