Council approves contract to repair Centennial Park Gym exterior walls
At the April 21 Paso Robles City Council meeting, the council approved a contract with Newton Construction and Management Inc. in the amount of $142,065 to repair the exterior stucco walls of the Centennial Park Gymnasium.
In October 2014 the stucco on the south-facing exterior wall of the Centennial Park Gymnasium developed significant cracks and was separating from the concrete wall. In November, a large section of the stucco fell. Christine Halley Interim Public Works Director, presented a report on the needed repairs.
The cost to repair the Centennial Park Gymnasium is proposed to be allocated from the City/Facility Repair fund. The current balance of the City/Facility Repair fund is $144,505.
The council unanimously approved the repair.
