Council approves improvements for Riverside and 14th streets 

–At Tuesday night’s Paso Robles City Council meeting, the council accepted a $500,000 grant to make storm water improvements to Riverside Avenue between 1st & 12th Streets and improve the 14th Street dead end for public parking (with pervious pavement).city council

The project scope exhibit is attached, and enumerates as follows:

• Improve the 14th Street stub, west of Riverside Avenue to provide approximately 12 to 14 parking spaces using pervious pavers as surface treatment;

• Provide storm water filtration swale along the east side of Riverside Avenue, between 10th and 12th Streets; and

• Convert existing landscape pockets within an existing public utility easement, which is located in the parking lot at the southwest corner of 12th Street

Wallace Group will be the consultant on the project. Their proposed fee for this work is $80,000.
