Council designates Historic Resources Committee
–At the last Paso Robles City Council meeting, the council decided to designate an Historic Resources Committee. They chose the El Paso De Robles Historical Society to serve as the committee for the next six months, at which point the council will consider appointing a formal Historic Resources Advisory Committee.
The motive is to establish a “standing” historic resources committee, with members that are knowledgeable on historic resources to review applications for modifications to historic structures, and make qualified recommendations to the city council, planning commission, and development review committee.
The committee would also review Mills Act or other incentive program applications, and assist with public outreach and education.
