Council members attend first meeting of 2019
–Paso Robles City Council met Thursday night at the Library Conference Room. The meeting was postponed Tuesday because of the New Year’s holiday. The council received a conservation report from Public Works Director Dick McKinley.
The council members voted unanimously to update the Paso Robles Municipal Code to make the office of city clerk an appointive position. City Manager Tom Frutchey explained the proposal to the council and the benefits of making the position appointive rather than an elected position.
The council also authorized the issuance of 2019 refunding general obligation bonds.
The meeting lasted only 47 minutes, one of the shortest in recent history.
