County libraries open call center

–Although branches of the County of San Luis Obispo Public Library are temporarily closed due to the COVID-19 stay-at-home order, telephone assistance is now available. The library’s call center hours and numbers are as follows:

Monday through Friday:

9 a.m.-1 p.m.: (805) 781-5991

1 p.m.- 5 p.m.: (805) 461-6161

Patrons can also submit questions online using the “Ask a Librarian” feature at slolibrary.org.

The library has seen a significant spike in the use of online resources in recent weeks. To meet the needs of adults and families who are staying close to home, the library has expanded its free online and digital services including eBooks, audiobooks, movies and television for streaming, music, magazines, homework help and more. All of these resources can be found at slolibrary.org. A landing page for the library’s digital resources and community information can be found at https://my.nicheacademy.com/slolibrary/course/12593.
