County Veterans Office to host ‘Holiday Salute’ veterans fair Dec. 6
Event to offer resources, refreshments, and holiday activities for veterans
– The County of San Luis Obispo Veterans Services Office will host “Holiday Salute: A Veterans Resource Fair” on Saturday, Dec. 6, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the San Luis Obispo Elks Lodge, located at 222 Elks Lane.
The event will bring together veteran service organizations, community partners, and local businesses to provide resources, benefits assistance, and wellness information for veterans and their families. Attendees will be able to connect with support services, enjoy complimentary refreshments, and take part in holiday activities.
“The holidays are a time to salute the men and women who’ve served our nation and to remind them that they’re never forgotten,” said Morgan Boyd, San Luis Obispo County Veterans Services Officer. “By partnering with the SLO Vet Center, Elks Lodge #322, and Central Coast Welcome Military Honors, we’re celebrating our veterans, connecting them to vital resources, and showing our gratitude in a meaningful way this holiday season.”
