COVID-19: SLO County reports 71 new cases over the weekend 

COVID-19 Update: 70 new cases added over the weekend

–San Luis Obispo County reported 71 new cases of COVID-19 over the weekend: 19 new cases of COVID-19 were added on Saturday, 24 on Sunday, and 28 on Monday.

Active cases are currently at 188, down considerably since January when active cases peaked at over 3,000.

The total number of people who have tested positive for COVID-19 since March is now 20,260 in SLO County. The county reports 19,817 people have recovered from the virus.

The San Luis Obispo County Public Health Department reported zero new deaths since its last report. The health department attributes a total of 253 deaths to COVID-19.
