Creston Road closure causes traffic back-ups 

Closure will be in effect through Friday

– Part of Creston Road was completely closed yesterday just north of Niblick Road in Paso Robles as construction crews worked on water and sewer lines for a new apartment complex being built next to Food-4-Less. The project will bring hundreds of new housing units to town.

Traffic backups occurred because of the closure. The traffic was especially heavy on the Melody Road detour where people headed away from downtown Paso Robles ended up trying to make a left-hand turn onto Niblick Road. Note: take River Road off 13th Street to avoid that detour on Melody.

The closure will be in effect through Friday between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Crews will be hooking up water and sewer lines in front of Winifred Pifer Elementary School.
