Crews install traffic signals on Sherwood Road
–Although the road construction on Sherwood Road is nearly complete, the traffic signal is not operating at the Commerce Way intersection. The city has stop signs leaning against temporary road signs. Tuesday, crews worked on the signals and they will soon be operational.
Sherwood Road was widened just east of Creston Road near the Food-4-Less Shopping Center past Quail Run Estates to Linne Road. Curbs and sidewalks were constructed on both sides along Sherwood Road.
While construction continues, the speed limit is 25 miles-per-hour.
