Crimson Newsmagazine wins big at National Journalism Convention 

crimson newsmagazine–Paso Robles High School’s Crimson Newsmagazine returned from Chicago last week after competing in the National Journalism Convention alongside 700 high schools with over 6,000 students registered.

The Bearcats brought home the following:

  • First place in Newspaper Tabloid category
  • Second place in Website category
  • First place Newspaper Spread category for “Ell Students” Nov. 2017.
  • Second place for their Digital Media Feature, “DACA Students Speak Out,” April. 2018.
  • Honorable Mention for their Digital Media Slideshow, “Winter Fashion at Kahunas,” March 2018.
