Crowds turn out for Paso Chamber Business Expo
Businesses, products, food, wine & more at 2014 Business Expo
The crowds turned out for the 2014 Business Expo Wednesday at the Paso Robles Event Center. Sponsored by the Paso Robles Chamber of Commerce, the annual event took place from 4-7 p.m. with 80 exhibitors showcasing their products and business offerings.
“We have been very happy with the turn out today,” said Marina Huston, Marketing & Events Director for the Chamber.
With a theme of “Back to the Future,” the expo was a chance for Chamber member business owners to show the community their products, promote their business, network with other businesses and attendees, and give attendees a glimpse of what the future may hold for Paso Robles.
“Our theme really supports the history of Paso Robles business and incorporating the future of Paso Robles business as well,” said Huston.
The afternoon included an extensive offering of food, local wines, networking, exhibits and more. New this year, the expo featured live cooking demonstrations by area chefs – a crowd favorite. Free to the public, the venue allowed for interactive participation, product introductions, and service solutions. According to Huston, the annual event has consistently been met with high attendance; approximately 75 percent of the exhibitors return to set up booths each year and can expect to meet with over 1,000 consumers.
“It is the largest business expo in North County,” said Huston, “and it is great for the business owners and staff to be able to meet with their customers face-to-face.”
Exhibitor Awards were handed out to the following businesses:
- Best Display or Demonstration – We Olive, Paso Robles
- Best Use of Theme – United Staffing Associates
- Best First Time Exhibitor – Rent-A-Center
