New location aims to expand access for South County residents
– Cuesta College has purchased the former Rite Aid building at 1650 E. Grand Ave. in Arroyo Grande for a future permanent South County campus, according to a report by the San Luis Obispo Tribune.
The site will become the college’s third campus, joining locations in San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles. A timeline for opening has not been announced.
Cuesta has offered classes in South County through Arroyo Grande High School since 1965 and has sought a permanent location to improve access for local students. The building is about 16,320 square feet, and the sale closed Feb. 13.
