Cuesta College launches new website

new site cuesta–As students return from Spring Break, Cuesta College kicked off the second half of the spring semester with a newly revamped website. The mobile-friendly redesigned site offers quick and easy access to essential information for students, the public, and Cuesta employees. With a clean, uncluttered design, improved functionality, and rich content that includes enhanced multimedia, the college hopes that users will enjoy the new informative experience.

“We are excited about our new website launch and the navigational ease it will provide users looking for all kinds of information,” said Cuesta College Superintendent/President Dr. Gil Stork. “Visitors will now see a site full of fresh, bright colors, vibrant photography and videos, with modern font and layout. The site is also responsive and accessible on both computers and mobile devices.”

The homepage layout allows users to immediately access information about academic programs, degrees, and certificates, admission processes, various financial aid options, and campus life. Community members visiting the site can easily access business partnership opportunities, the college’s Foundation, and community-centric programs. News and events will be updated regularly on the home page, as well as important timely information, like how to apply for the Cuesta Promise Scholarship or receive emergency alerts from the college. Official college designations, including Hispanic Serving Institution, Military Friendly School, and No Place for Hate®, are also listed on the homepage. Toward the bottom of each page, users can find information on campus locations, contact information, and helpful quick links.

New to the Cuesta College website is a Newsroom feature, which includes all press releases, media coverage, featured stories, videos, and college publications. Users will also see a new Calendar of Events feature, which has improved navigation and viewing options.

The college began the process to revamp its website in February of 2016; it was created in contract with local branding firm iii Design.
