Cuesta College to host nursing informational fair
‘If nursing is your passion, you should take the next step and earn your advanced degree,’ says associate dean of nursing and allied health
– The Cuesta College Nursing Department will host an informational fair for nurses and nursing students on Jan. 21 from 2 to 4:30 p.m. The event will take place on the San Luis Obispo campus in Building 2500, Room 2502.
The fair will feature representatives from various in-state and out-of-state universities who will provide information about Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing programs. Schools represented include California State University Monterey Bay, Nevada State, Ohio University, Post University, University of Phoenix, Southern New Hampshire University, and WGU. Options for in-person, online, and accelerated programs will also be highlighted.
The event is designed for Cuesta College associate degree in nursing students exploring bachelor’s degree programs and registered nurses in the community interested in pursuing advanced degrees. Attendees will have the opportunity to speak directly with school representatives and learn about pathways to further their education and careers.
“If nursing is your passion, you should take the next step and earn your advanced degree,” said Beth Johnson, associate dean of nursing and allied health at Cuesta College. “This is a wonderful time to be in the nursing field with so many opportunities available. Furthering your education opens a lot of doors.”
