Cuesta Foundation seeks donations for ‘Giving Tuesday’
–On Nov. 29, the Cuesta College Foundation will participate in “Giving Tuesday,” and is encouraging the community to donate in support of the college’s students. Occurring the day after Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday is the global day dedicated to giving back.
“All the funds raised will go to support the foundation’s grant programs, which help fund the college’s technology upgrades and keep our classrooms and labs current,” said Cuesta College Foundation Director of Development Karen Tacket.

The Cuesta College Foundation was founded in 1973 for the specific and primary purposes of promoting the general welfare of Cuesta College. The foundation assists and supports Cuesta College in, “the attainment of educational, scientific and cultural goals and in fulfilling the college’s mission of service to the community.” The foundation has provided millions of dollars for student scholarships, equipment, and programs and projects.
